Insight: There are McDonald’s everywhere in the United States.

Big Idea: There are so many famous arches in the United States, and we’re ok with McDonald’s golden arches not always being the favorite.

Digital: Finding Arches

There are a whole lot of golden arches in every major city, the average distance to them is barely over a mile in cities with over 1 million people. There are even more regular arches in those cities as well. In this game, Snapchat users can scan any arches they see around a city and gain points for in-store perks. They’ll have the opportunity to keep track of how many arches they’ve seen, compare their score with their friends, and most importantly turn any regular arch into their favorite meal under their favorite arches, the Golden Arches.

This feature on Apple Maps won’t just help guide users to the nearest Mcdonald's, it will help guide them to any of the nearest notable arches while an audio guide gives them a history of the arch. Whether it be the St. Louis Gateway Arch, or a 100-year-old local bridge, this feature will have a massive database of all of the most notable arches.
