Walter White for Senate
My name is Walter White, and I am running to be a Senator for the great state of New Mexico. I have lived in Albuquerque all my life; I’ve built two businesses and started a family here. My father passed away when I was young, and I worked in a cardboard box factory just to get by and, eventually, to send myself through college. Today, I am an educator at J. P. Wynne High School. I probably have many of your kids in my class. In fact, we have a test tomorrow, so after this go home and make sure they’re studying.
After graduating from The California Institute of Technology. I helped create Gray Matter, a multi-billion dollar company that has changed the world with its technological innovations. Now, I run my own business which creates dozens of jobs and brings an industry that had moved south of the border back to the United States and back to New Mexico.
Last year, I was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. Despite being a high school chemistry teacher AND working a second job at a car wash, I still was not able to pay for treatment while supporting my family. The establishment has abandoned the hard-working, everyday Americans, and now we can’t even get the basic healthcare that we require. It was at this moment that I decided to start my business and, even more importantly, to run for Senate.
As an educator and a business owner, I believe we must nurture the spirit of entrepreneurship in our youth that has made America the greatest country on earth. The best, highest-quality products get manufactured in the United States. Just take my own business as an example.
Before I go, I would like to thank my partner in business and mentee Jesse Pinkman because my work would not be possible without you. The chicken man himself Gustavo Fring, who always challenges me to be at my best and who serves the best dang chicken in Albuquerque. My son, Walter Jr, whose perseverance is an inspiration to me every day. And, of course, my wife Skyler; my rock, my angel, and the mother of our new baby, Holly. I could not run my business or, heck, do anything at all, without you by my side.
Next week, go out to the polls and vote. Because together, we can build something incredible here in New Mexico. Thank you all for listening to me speak today. And remember, WE are the ones who knock.
